Food Bank Support
Our aim is to end hunger. To achieve this , we work in partnership with a network of community-based organizations, local businesses and individuals. Together, we serve the needy and vulnerable with healthy and nutritious food so that the root causes of hunger, poverty, systemic inequity and rooted out. We believe, together, we are greater. Together, we can end hunger.
Offering nourishment and hope
We are aware the circumstances of some of services and our food bank serve as a critical lifeline for individuals and families facing these food insecurity. We are a convenient intermediary, sourcing food from various donors, including grocery stores, food manufacturers, restaurants, and individual contributors. This food is then distributed to those in need either directly to the service users on a weekly and weekly basis.
Our primary goal is to provide immediate relief to those struggling with hunger. The supplies include a variety of food items, including non-perishable goods like canned vegetables, beans, and pasta, as well as fresh produce, dairy products, and meat when available. By doing so, our food bank helps to bridge the gap between hunger and nourishment, ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to the essential nutrients they need for their well-being.

Challenges are many but our confidence is high
Despite the vital contributions, we are face several challenges that can hinder our ability to meet the growing demand for our services. Our operation model relies heavily on donations, grants and individual contributions. Securing consistent funding has been challenging, especially during the economic downturns with much needed donations in decline.
The availability of food donations can be unpredictable. We strive to ensure that we have a steady and diverse supply of food to distribute on a weekly basis which includes managing storage , transportation, and the perishability of fresh produce.
We aim to provide nutritious food while the quality of donated items can vary, we ensure that our services users have access to balanced, healthy diets with careful planning and distribution.
How you can help
Each food share pack costs us £12.00 per household per week. We aim to provide nutritious and healthy food supplies to at least 60 household every week. We need £720 per week to help those in need with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, milk pasta, rice, atta and healthy snacks. How can you help us today?
