Through an act of genuine altruism, the food was collected and distributed to a local homeless shelter in Berkshire. This key event led to a greater realisation of a wider issue of poverty in the local area, where a significant number of people remain homeless, without warm clothes, food, or necessities.<\/p><p>To address this problem in an organized manner, K Community Foundation (Formerly Kaneez Bi Foundation) was formed with a small group of like-minded individuals as\u00a0 board of trustees.<\/p><p>The trustees have a common desire to help minimize poverty and serve the community. With diverse backgrounds, skills and varied professional experience, the trustees continued to provide food packs, initially from their homes.<\/p><p>The charity is named after the late mother of the founder, Mrs Kaneez Bi, a kind and generous woman who always supported her community, through kindness, charity, and generosity.
